Camp Counselor - Job Description
The Day Camp Counselor is responsible for leading and implementing programs and experiences for children in a small group setting. They will also be responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants in his/her group. The person will provide high quality indoor/outdoor educational and recreational experiences for participants that focus on Kidsville Summer Camp core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Qualifications - Required
Must have the physical ability to lead and participate in camp activities which include, but are not limited to, walking/running, swimming, team building initiatives, physical games, and activities.
Must have the ability to restrain and physically support children when needed for safety in general camp activities (child weighing 50 - 200 pounds).Type your paragraph here.
Our counselors are special people chosen for their compassion, ability to have fun and love of children. All are deeply committed to the care and development of each and every camper. We don’t cut corners in our training. All counselors are American Red Cross CPR and Standard First Aid certiﬁed and have participated our summer camp in orientation and training.
